About Tasman Forge

Tasman Forge is based in Nelson, New Zealand and founded by designer, Tim Bleackley. Tim produces a range of high quality wrought iron door and custom ironwork (custom made door handles, handcrafted balustrades etc). With over 20 years experience in ironwork, Tim uses original designs and his attention to details to hand craft each piece. All Tasman Forge pieces are individually hand crafted and created from hot forged mild steel.

After sketching his designs, Tim loves nothing more than getting his hands dirty. He turns his working drawings into beautiful tactile pieces at the forge.
